Schedule a Virtual Visit

We know that even during a pandemic, there’s no pause for other chronic conditions; high blood pressure and diabetes persist. As COVID-19 dominates the news, we at Arch Health Medical Group want to assure you we remain open and committed to providing you care for all of your health care needs.

If you or your loved ones require regular visits for the prevention, treatment or maintenance of a chronic condition or continued specialized care for acute onset illnesses, such as heart problems, gastrointestinal disturbances, or a cancer diagnosis, you may continue to be seen in the office OR you may access care with your physician via a virtual visit (discussed in more detail below). Please consult your care team to determine the best visit type for you.

Certain emergency symptoms, such as sudden chest pain, loss of speech, vision or limb strength, acute abdominal pain or GI bleeding, should not dissuade you from calling 911 or coming to the Emergency Room. For non-emergent, urgent conditions, know that you have continued access to our Urgent Cares open 7 days a week with modified hours during this pandemic. Check our website for hours at our Poway location or our Ramona location.

Virtual visits can help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

To remain a consistent support to our patients during these uncertain times, Arch Health Medical Group is now offering virtual visits. Through various platforms, we can host virtual visits from the safety and comfort of home for individuals with minor to moderate symptoms. Doctors can evaluate symptoms, such as fever, cough, discuss known risk factors, and answer questions and recommend next steps, including referring you to the right location for an in-person visit if needed.

How do I schedule a virtual visit?
Please call your doctor’s office and schedule as you would for an in-person appointment. The scheduler will provide you with simple instructions on how to join the virtual visit. To locate your doctor's office number, click here and search by name.

Do I need any special equipment or software?

How much do virtual visits cost?
If you are a Medicare or Medicare Advantage patient, your telehealth visit (audio-visual visit), including telephone visits and video visits, are covered for any condition. Commercial HMO and PPO coverage varies by plan. Some plans cover for COVID-19 related symptoms, other conditions and symptoms that are managed during a virtual visit or telephone visit for patients may not be covered with HMO and PPO insurance, and are subject to co-pays and co-insurance.

Will I see my regular doctor on a virtual visit?
Yes, you will be scheduled with your doctor as usual when scheduling an in-office visit.

In addition to COVID-19 screenings, virtual visits are available for these other commonly treated conditions:
