Internal Medicine at Arch Health Partners
Internists specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases of the body's internal organs, but they also provide primary care for many of their patients. In addition, they refer patients to specialists, especially if they may need surgery. Internists different from other doctors because they specialize in adult health care, from the teens through old age. Internists do not perform surgery and spend at least three years of our medical schooling learning about adults.
